R.I.P.
Knievel Takes His Final Leap

Evel KnievelDaredevil Evel Knievel died Friday, said his granddaughter. He was 69.

He had reportedly been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and a condition that caused scarring in his lungs.

Knievel underwent a liver transplant in 1999 after nearly dying of Hepatitis C. We're told he likely contracted the disease from a blood transfusion after one of his infamous spills.

Evel's rep tells TMZ, "The world has lost a one of a kind human being. Someone like this we'll never never see again." His rep told us that he had just spoken to Evel yesterday, and he wasn't feeling well.

31. What can you say about a man that calls himself Evil (Evel). He's just a guy who craved fame and fortune and through this goal, he was destined to live the majority of his life in chronic physical pain breaking every bone in his body at least once. Lets just hope he didn't end up in Hell like most people who embrace the term evil. He always seemed so unhappy in life. Who knows, maybe he found his peace before he died. God speed.

32. This was on TV .. featuring a bio of this assclown himself ..
I quote

"Did you ever hear about my great great grandfather? He was a gladiator in Rome. Caesar hated him. He dug a hole in the coluseum and buried my great-great grandfather up to his neck. And Caesar got the meanest lion in all of Rome. Then he starved him to death and let him out at a big gathering. The Lion pounced and as he went to bite, my grandfather ducked and bit the lion's balls right off. Then he spit them at Julius Caesar. Caesar turned and said, "Fight fair Knievel. Fight fair." -Evel Knievel.

LMffffffffffffffffaoooooooooooooo
Yes, he did say this. LOL

33. I saw him in 1971 at the Chicago Motorcycle show. He came flying in on a harley, through the double doors and made a jump inside the International Ampitheatre there that he barely had enough space to clear when he landed---but he made it.

The guy was a legend and icon. Dont see too many like him these days. He paved the way for getting large numbers to follow non traditional Sports Events.

Only regret was when they made a movie of him and had George Hamilton play him.

Godspeed,

35. Good Bye Evil and that your are...You knew this was not the time to pressure Kanya about a settlement. He just lost his mother. This was about your image and did not look like yours at all to me. His was more hip that the old one you wore.

So know you have your settlement and you can rest in peace.

This is to all the poster that mad the negative comments about Kanya and his mom after she died. I just want to people to see how some comments are not appropriate at a particular time. Especially when someone has passed on to a better place.

Some comments are just too heartless.

Rest in peace Evil you were and always will be the original Extreme Sportsman

43. I wrote a song with some friends of mine for Evel. We met him at a motorcycle event here in San Diego (Del Mar Mile). He loved the song and had us play it for a little crowd that had gathered for him to speak. The next year, we were asked to play background music for Evel as he was signing autographs at Galpin Ford in Sherman Oaks. Evel was a great guy... He inspired me when I was a kid to be brave in the face of almost certain doom. He will always be remembered by me as the World's Greatest Daredevil...

I miss you already...

45. God Bless you Evil. You did what young men today wish they could do but don't have the balls. What you did is beyond the X games. You made history and did everything your own way. We will be praying for your family. God loves you and you are having the best time there in heaven with no pain and have been accepted into the family and friends that have passed before you. We love you and always have.
