78. Is bi-polar a polite word for INSANE these days? Brit should be treated like any other iINSANE person. Put her in a padded room for a while and throw away the key. Maybe that will smarten her up. She thrives on all the publicity and without that, I'm sure she will act normal again.

80. First of all, I am really surprised at the number of people willing, no eager, to give up their Constitutional Rights. Because by saying they should force Britney into the hospital and into treatment without any sort of due process of law flat out goes against the Constitution.

Secondly, as far as the next 14 days go, Britney still has the Right (as guaranteed by the Constitution) to a legal hearing and a Patient's Rights advocate to assist her in the hearing. She also has a right to file for a Writ of Habeas Corpus and go to court to see a judge about her incarceration.

I personally think it is appalling that so many people are trying to strip her of her Constitutional Rights. She has a RIGHT to be crazy and not to seek treatment. If she is truly a danger to herself or others or is truly gravel disabled (which I have a very hard time believing she fits the criteria for), then yes, the government has a duty to protect her, but barring those things, they cannot, by law, force her into any treatment. It seems to me that there must be something we are not hearing, because from what I have read in the media, they don't have much to keep her on.

What has this girl done in her life that is the least bit productive for society to deserve so much attention? She is no more than trailer trash, and no amount of money can change that. What a loser! 83. It's reported doctors have detoxed her off laxatives. Dehydration can cause confusion, mental and emotional imbalance--even violence. Maybe now she'll become stable enough to appreciate the chaos she's created and accept that she needs help.

85. Where are all these "reports" coming from, like about geting her off laxatives and that she talked on the phone to Sam Lufti over the weekend and so on? Her mother for once in her tragic trashy life is keeping her face hidden (praise de lawd!) and her stupid mouth shut. I wish somebody would really answer this question about where all the infomration is coming from. I'd like to know.

86. "Britters" is probably loving it. She's getting hamburgers brought in so she doesn't have to eat hospital food like the other patients who haven't got her money and fame. She gets to smoke and use the phone, and god know what other special privileges. If she had been forced to acknowledge many years ago, like when she was seven, that she is not better or more special or more important than other people, she might not have spiraled out of control and gotten so sick. I agree she's in seriously bad mental health right now and I hope she gets well, but catering to her like that is not the kind of treatment she needs. She needs firmness and kindness and therapy, and for her mother and daddy to show her finally it's her and not the money they care about (if they can pull that off. Lynne probably will fail at that, but maybe the daddy can manage.)

87. I think the treatment of Britney Spears violates the UN Declarations of Human Rights. If you treat a person with drugs (medication) and other treatments of the brain, then the trial is not just. Forced treatment should not be allowed. I would like to remind you about what happened to Ernest Hemingway. It was probably the memory loss due to the psychiatric treatment that made him commit suicide. So, free, free Britney Spears. Send in the A Team now.
